About Snorlax

0

Snorlax is one of the most extraordinary gaming characters known to man. Although a lazy creature, when taunted he is able to unleash powers beyond imagination. Ash managed to wake the Snorlax up in Pokémon series’ episode called Snack Attack! by playing the Poké flute. Contrary to popular belief, Snorlax can be woken up in several other ways as well. You just have to be a little creative.

Snorlax now lives at Professor Oak’s laboratory, living a lush life in which most of his time awake is spent eating. Most of his adult time, however, is spent fast asleep.

Snorlax is not one of a kind. Minor appearances of random Snorlax in the Pokémon series include an episode called Training Daze, in which a rare red Snorlax has caught Team Rocket’s eye. This Snorlax in particular turns out to be Jessie, James and Meowth’s lifetime enemy and Team Rocket member Viper, their Drill Sergeant.

The Pikachu short Pikachu and Pichu, aired in Japanese theatres along with the movie Spell of the Unown, featured a Snorlax.

Snorlax is not to be confused with Skrillex, a popular Canadian electronic music producer known for applying the same effects and cuts over and over to every song, whilst also pretending to be a killer live artist, when he is actually not.
